Debuting last Thursday night, 7/8/10, after the Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event and all of the rain/hail; the “Mile High Window Light Show” at the Canon City Queen Anne Tea House is providing musical and visual entertainment for the area residents, families, as well as our guests touring the Fremont County area. It’s free and all you have to do is drive to 813 Macon Avenue, 2 blocks north of hwy 50 and 1 block west of 9th street, feel free to park and enjoy the show.
The current light show is driven by original music, You are Glorius, by Karre Ann Wakefield, daughter of Al, Linda Ballard, owners of the Queen Anne. Tune into 107.5 FM on your car radio to hear the music and then see the windows change colors.
To celebrate the window light show, the Queen Anne will be seating a second High/5 course Dinner Tea, at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday – Saturday, on the Veranda (weather permitting,) allowing guests to enjoy a romantic evening of fine dining and a light show outside. Tea room seating also available at that time.

for details.
The Queen Anne will host the July, Chamber of Commerce, Business After Hours event, tomorrow evening, we expect a great turn out of chamber members. And we will debute the “Mile High Window Light Show,” which is an effort that has taken over 3 1/2 months to complete with the proceeds of the sale of my Harley Davidson and Kawaski motorcycles (sadness is a real condition of the heart,) funding the project.
We believe this new attraction for southern colorado will be one that will bring joy to many, customers, residents, their families and tourists. Thank you Linda Ballard, for allowing me to dirty up your tea rooms and living quarters; Rohde Wakefield for the engineering counsel; Kelle Ballard for the encouragement from a son to a father.
Our daughter, Karre Ann, KAMM music ministries will be our guest musican tomorrow evening and we plan to debute the musically driven, computer controlled light show at 8 p.m., running until 10 p.m.
For our praying family, friends, keep us lifted up during these last 24 hours and during the debute; we desire this to be something special for many.
